Both are leave-in conditioners — they stay in your beard all day instead of washing out. They moisturize the hair and the skin underneath, which cuts down on dryness, itching, and flaking. Our versions use all-natural ingredients with no fillers or synthetic shortcuts. If your beard is uncomfortable or looks rough, this is the fix.

Beard oil is lighter. It absorbs quickly and is great for conditioning the skin and hair without adding any weight or stiffness. Start here if you have a shorter beard or just want moisture. Beard balm does everything oil does, plus it adds hold. It contains beeswax, which gives you some control over shape and flyaways. If your beard is longer or tends to go in every direction, balm is the better call.

Barbarian® soaps are made with natural oils and no sulfates, parabens, or artificial fragrances. Each bar is handmade in small batches. They clean without stripping your skin dry, which matters if you're using them on your face and neck regularly. The scents are woodsy and straightforward — nothing floral.

Balm: Start with a pea-sized amount. Warm it between your fingers and work it through your beard from root to tip. Add a little more if you need more control, but less is usually better until you know how your beard responds. Oil: Start with 4–5 drops. Work it into both the hair and the skin underneath. Longer beard means more oil. Over time your beard will absorb moisture better and you'll likely need less.
